Regional Skills Partnership Coordinator

Vikki Stroud

Vikki’s role as the Regional Skills Partnership Coordinator for the CCRSP supports the Regional Skills Partnership Managers in the delivery of the Employment and Skills Plan 2022-2025 and associated employer engagement activities. Vikki also leads the coordination of the CCR Employment and Skills Board.

With a diverse background in both hospitality and sports administration, Vikki brings a wealth of experience in customer service, management, and organisational leadership. Having started her career in hospitality at 16, Vikki progressed through various roles, from waitressing to Sales Manager, after completing a degree in International Hotel Management. Here, Vikki developed her skills when managing teams, organising large-scale events, and driving business growth.

After having 2 children, Vikki then transitioned into her role in sports administration overseeing operations for multiple major sports clubs in Cardiff. Managing everything from administration, marketing, and finance to event planning and coordination, collaborating with national governing bodies.

During her career development in the hospitality industry, Vikki also worked for HCTC (Hospitality & Catering Training Company) who were a work based learning provider within South East Wales. This role instilled a passion for lifelong learning and particularly the need to develop and progress young adults into training and employment.

Vikki’s role sees her excel in liaison with employers across the CCRSP priority sectors along with external partners and stakeholders, as well as being the lead for the CCRSP’s social media accounts.
