Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) South East Wales Employer & Partnership Leader

Having taken up post in September 2023, Ian is the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) South East Wales Employer & Partnership Leader, with responsibility for a number of teams including Employer Advisers, Partnership Managers, Prison Work Coaches, Disability Employment Advisers, Contracting & Third-Party Teams and Outreach Workers. These teams cover and support Monmouthshire, Newport, Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, Merthyr, Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen local authorities.

Ian has worked for the DWP and its predecessors for 35 years, working in a variety of roles mainly in the External partnership teams.

Ian is extremely passionate about the DWP and the customers and stakeholders it supports and always seeks to build new relationships that enable all to improve the services delivered.
